Membership renewal: Existing Members
Beeston u3a’s financial and membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March each year.
Fees January 2026 to March 2027:

There are three ways of renewing your membership:
- Online renewal – u3a Beacon
You can renew your membership online through our Beacon software (u3a supported). You need to use the Members’ portal, where you identify yourself with your personal details including your membership number and email address to confirm your identity. These details are emailed out to you in January each year.
Renewing your membership online uses the PayPal system but you DO NOT need to have an account with PayPal to use the system. PayPal will take the payment on behalf of other payment cards, debit or credit. PayPal will send an email to confirm your payment to you and advise the Membership Secretary through the Beacon system.

If you previously have been a member and your membership has now lapsed, you will not be able to use this portal. Please contact the Membership Secretary at membership@beestonu3a.org.uk as your record may still be available on the Beacon system.
- Online by BACS
You can renew your membership using BACS if you are an existing telephone or online banking user.
If you renew this way please follow the guidance in the emails you will have received.
- At the January, February and March Open meetings.
Debit/Credit card can be made at all three Open meetings. In addition to card payments, payment by cheque or cash can be made at the March Open meeting. Please put your membership number and/or address on the back of your cheque and make it payable to ‘Beeston u3a’.
